Assalam-u-Alaikum Fellows.....

Hope you all poeple will b fine and in shape by the grace of Allah....
Well the reason for posting this thread is to inform S.O. Members about the rules
made by (Admins) of ShayiriOnline Forums.....

1)
This category is set up to provide a platform where members can provide information and discuss issues related to our religion, "Islam". The purpose is by no means to allow members to raise fingers at others' views and beliefs. Note that only discussion (the presentation of various options and perspectives) is allowed, not debate (the countering of opinions and perspectives with reasons with the intention to come to a mutual decision). This has been done keeping in view the age of the members that visit the site, the religious knowledge of our average member and most importantly of all, the fact that this category is not meant to serve as an isolated platform for religion ONLY but as a section of the ShayiriOnline forums where we can create awareness about the BASICS of our religion. May it be emphasized that any discussion which would require a scholarly knowledge of religion shall NOT BE ENCOURAGED, since such debate should only take place between people of the same calibre of knowledge of religion. Members interested in such debate are advised to look for alternative sites.

2)
While discussion is fine, the S.O. Moderators shall not tolerate any sort of rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Discussion shall be allowed to continue by the members only when there is no hostile, rude, or insulting opinion of another's faith. These restrictions to discussion also apply to material linked and/or quoted from another site. The decision of the Moderators shall be regarded as final in these matters.

3)
Sectarianism, the differentiation between people of various sects, shall not be allowed or tolerated here. At S.O., no one is a sunni, shia', diyobandi, barelvi etc. All members are equal and shall have equal rights. Having said that, it is hereby very explicitly stated that Qadianis, Ahmedi's, Parvezi's and other Munkar-e-Hadith groups are not allowed to proliferate their religious thoughts at this site. They shall not be stopped from joining the forum and enjoying among our midst; however, allowing them to participate and discuss their beliefs is strictly out of bounds. Therefore, please keep this in mind that should we find someone discussing or proliferating any such beliefs, the member's account shall be be immediately banned or deleted from S.O. If members with such beliefs are interested in discussing them, we suggest they do so at some other place.

4)
The ShayiriOnline Moderators reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully or repeatedly violates the forum rules. We shall try our very level best to remain unbiased when applying rules, disregarding the age or seniority (number of posts) of any member.

5)
Action by the Moderators can be in the form of either a verbal warning, a temporary ban or then a permanent ban, as deemed to be appropriate by the Moderators.

6)
If any member is having a problem with certain members or a question about a Moderator action, feel free to send a Private Message to the ShayiriOnline Administrators or any member of the Moderator Group for help in resolving the matter, instead of posting on the open forums.

7)
Preaching of your own views/faith or attacking other religions/faiths in this category shall by no means be tolerated. This category is for education and awareness of religion solely.

8 )
Comments made by any member of ShayiriOnline do NOT reflect the opinon of ShayiriOnline itself.

General Posting Rules:

1)
ShayiriOnline Moderators have the right to edit, delete, move or make any other changes to threads and posts that are offensive, cause confusion, are off topic, or warrant a thread of their own. The author may or may not be notified of changes depending on what caused the change to be made.

2)
While the ShayiriOnline Moderators shall try to ensure that offensive posts or posts that break the rules of the forum are dealt with quickly and fairly, we do not always see these posts immediately. If you feel a post is offensive or breaks the rules of the forum, please REPORT TO A MODERATOR. This will alert the Moderators immediately that there is a post that needs attention. We will then take action as necessary.

3)
Members are advised to refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word or totally irrelevant/nonsense posts. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is also not allowed.

4)
Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed and will not be tolerated. We will delete all spam posts (advertising directly or indirectly), or any post with just a link and no explanation. This includes using the forum email and Private Message system to spam other members. You may be banned for spamming.

5)
These rules cover most common situations, but they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, the ShayiriOnline Moderators reserve the right to take any actions they deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

Have fun and please keep some etiquette Smile .
